TRENDSETTER EXECUTES BRAZIL’S FIRST RISERLESS LIGHT WELL INTERVENTION OFFSHORE
Houston, TX – Trendsetter Engineering has successfully completed the first-ever Riserless Light Well Intervention (RLWI) operation offshore Brazil, a landmark achievement for the company and for the Brazilian subsea industry.
The project was led by Trendsetter Subsea do Brasil (TSdB), Trendsetter's Brazilian subsidiary, and deployed the company's flagship Trident Intervention System in a configuration purpose-built for RLWI operations. The system's modular design allowed for a tailored setup that minimizes deck space and operational complexity while delivering a safe and efficient intervention on a live well using a Multi-Purpose Service Vessel (MPSV).
This milestone sets a new benchmark for subsea operations in Brazil and opens the door to future RLWI campaigns in the region, reinforcing Trendsetter's position as a leader in subsea innovation.
