Specialized subsea equipment solutions require an engineering study to determine feasibility. Trendsetter has performed countless specialty studies and assessments for oil and gas operators across a spectrum of industry areas such as drilling, production, and intervention including participation in joint industry projects. In particular, as the performance envelope for subsea equipment ascends to higher pressures and temperatures, Trendsetter is at the forefront of developing subsea technologies to enable exploration and development of HPHT discoveries. Through recently delivered projects Trendsetter has become an industry leader in HPHT design and qualification, including qualification and delivery of the industry’s first 15,000psi, 400°F connection system. All HPHT equipment is required to be developed in compliance with the API 17TR8 standard – of which Trendsetter has a deep understanding in both the engineering and manufacturing requirements. Additionally, Trendsetter has delivered the industry's first 20,000 psi Capping Stack with the second slated for 2020.
