PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Trendsetter designed and manufactured two 18 ¾” 15,000 psi capping stack tool boxes to Oil Spill Response Ltd (OSRL). The capping stacks are capable of containing subsea oil wells in water depths up to 10,000 feet in the event of a subsea well-control incident. This will allow oil and gas companies worldwide to respond quickly, safely and efficiently to future Macondo oil spill type incidents.

Upon completion, OSRL will direct the movement of the equipment from Trendsetter’s facility in Houston, Texas to four strategic storage locations—Northern Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
